With the largest body of water between the Great Lakes and Gulf of Mexico -- Kentucky and Barkley Lakes connected by a canal at Grand Rivers; 4 major rivers -- Mississippi River, Ohio River, Tennessee River and Cumberland River; and plentiful smaller fishing venues, Western Kentucky is a fisherman's paradise.
